Xiaoyan to Enter Smart Switch Market with New HomeKit Compatible Device

Xiaoyan, the Chinese company bringing a slew new HomeKit enabled devices, have announced via their Twitter page, a new in-wall Smart Switch that will be HomeKit compatible, via their own hub, known simply as the Xiaoyan Home Center. Not too much is known about the Switch at the moment, but considering switches can be used to control other devices, and not just lights, it’s fair to assume these will be just as capable.

The switch will be suitable for both 110-120v/60Hz and 220-240v/50Hz, although we’re not certain whether separate models will be available for each system or one model will work with both. Xiaoyan also inform us that besides the four gang switch you see in the featured image, they will also be producing 1-gang and 2-gang versions.

All their devices connect to the Home Center via Zigbee, which makes for a speedy and reliable connection. More info as we get it.
