How to install LED Strip Lights – Bookcase & Shelving Lighting

The Nanoleaf light strip is not only the first light strip that I’ve seen with an RGB WW CC architecture but it’s also the world’s first Thread enabled light strip. https://geni.us/NanoleafDirect (affiliate link) With all this cool technology, can you cut it, splice it, and install it on a bookcase? Let’s find out… FYI – *Cutting your light strip will void the warranty – do at your own risk

  • Very cool that there is Thread capability. I’ve considered getting some Nanoleaf panels, but currently run my lights through the Hue system. From what I’ve heard, Nanoleaf did not have the most reliable hardware. However, great content and thank you for the tutorial, going to use it today.

    • Hopefully it won’t be too long before the activate Thread in the Nanoleaf Shapes. Then things will get really interesting.
