Will a 50G icloud plan be sufficient for this doorbell?
Yes, you can use this with the 50Gb iCloud+ plan is you want to use it with HomeKit Secure Video (HSV), although the 50GB plan is limited to one camera/doorbell, so if you already have one camera using HSV, then you would have to choose between the doorbell or the HomeKit camera. If you don’t need HSV, then it doesn’t matter, and you can still view the live stream and get notifications. You just can’t get the 10 day recordings.
Can this be installed outside the gate, exposed to direct sunlight and rains?
