Govee Set to Release New Gaming Lights w/Matter
Govee has announced the launch of its Gaming Light Bars Pro, designed to offer a three-sided lighting setup for gaming and entertainment environments, with Matter support in tow. The bars support 16 million colours and feature wall-washing effects, housed in a design made from polycarbonate and metal materials.
The system integrates with Govee’s Desktop software and includes AI-based colour-matching to sync lighting effects with gameplay, video, or music in real time. The good news for Smart Home enthusiasts (I guess…) is that whilst these are compatible with standard gaming platforms, including Razer Chroma, and Corsair iCUE. these lights are also compatible with Matter, as well as via legacy connections for Alexa, and Google Home. Matter support is going to be limited compared to the options available via the gaming platforms, however.
Users can customise the lighting with over 60 preset scenes and a range of sound-reactive modes. Here are a list of the features for these lights;
