Govee Launch Three New Smart Lamps w/Matter

Govee has announced the launch of the Uplighter Floor Lamp, the main model in its third-generation Floor Lamp Series. The full range, now available, also includes the Torchiere Floor Lamp, which offers ambient lighting, and the Tree Floor Lamp, featuring three adjustable heads.

The Uplighter Floor Lamp uses a three-in-one lighting system designed to suit a variety of everyday uses. It includes upper, middle, and lower light zones, each with independent controls, allowing for a mix of task lighting and ambient effects. The design is intended for placement in corners, aiming to make better use of space while providing both practical and decorative lighting.

According to Govee CEO Eric Wu, the goal of the new series is to improve underused areas in the home by combining functional and ambient lighting in a customisable way. The series supports a blend of RGB lighting with adjustable white light to suit different preferences and daily routines.

THE UPLIGHTER FLOOR LAMP

The lamp includes an upper section that produces a ripple projection effect with a mix of warm and cool tones, intended to create a calm setting for relaxation. The middle RGBIC section and lower white light zone offer customisable brightness and colour temperature, with a maximum output of 1,000 lumens.

The lamp is compatible with Alexa, Google Home, and Matter – which in turns makes it compatible with Apple Home – and it can be controlled via the Govee Home app where all the deeper customisation options will be found. Features include voice control, DIY lighting modes, ambient syncing, and scheduled routines.

THE TORCHIERE FLOOR LAMP

The Torchiere Floor Lamp includes triple-zone colour control and music sync. It is designed to provide soft, even lighting suitable for bedrooms, play areas, or shared living spaces.

The Tree Floor Lamp features three adjustable light arms and a geometric design. It is intended to serve both as a visual focal point and a practical light source, particularly in more complex or curated interiors.
