Aqara Releases Three Additional Smart Products

Aqara has announced the wider availability of three smart home products: the Camera G100, the Floor Heating Thermostat W500, and the Dimmer Switch H2 US, for global, European, and North American markets respectively.

CAMERA G100 (GLOBAL)

The Camera G100 is a compact indoor/outdoor security camera with IP65 weather resistance and 2K video resolution. It includes a built-in spotlight for colour night vision and supports round-the-clock monitoring. The G100 works with multiple platforms including Apple Home (HomeKit Secure Video), Alexa, Google Home, and SmartThings. RTSP support also makes it suitable for use with third-party platforms such as Home Assistant, Frigate, and Blue Iris. Footage can be stored locally via microSD or NAS, and Aqara states that its cloud storage is end-to-end encrypted.

FLOOR HEATING THERMOSTAT W500 (EUROPE)

The W500 is a wall-mounted thermostat designed for underfloor heating systems (both electric and hydronic), as well as other fixed electric heaters. It can be controlled through smart schedules, voice assistants, the Aqara app, or paired devices like the Climate Sensor W100 or Aqara’s physical control panels. Temperature regulation is handled either via a connected Aqara climate sensor or the included wired floor sensor (NTC). With both Thread and Zigbee built in, the W500 supports Matter, enabling integration with other platforms and devices.

DIMMER SWITCH H2 US (NORTH AMERICA)

The H2 is a smart dimmer switch compatible with traditional dimmable lighting. It is designed to work with or without a neutral wire, making it suitable for a wider range of installations. Like the W500, it supports both Thread and Zigbee, with Matter compatibility allowing integration with platforms such as Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings, Home Assistant, and Homey.
