Matter Lighting Series Added to Switchbot Lineup
SwitchBot has today announced the launch of its Matter-enabled Light Series, expanding its range of connected home products. The new collection introduces lighting products across several categories through the use of Matter over Wi-Fi.
RGBIC SERIES
The RGBIC Series includes the RGBICWW Floor Lamp, RGBICWW Strip Light, and RGBIC Neon Wire Rope Light (North America only). These models deliver dynamic colour effects beyond what standard RGB lighting can achieve.
The SwitchBot RGBICWW Floor Lamp supports RGB, cool white, and warm white tones with independent segment control, allowing either multi-colour effects or gentle ambient lighting. Standing 1.35 metres tall, it can be placed vertically or horizontally and provides a 100-degree wide-angle spread for even illumination.
The RGBICWW Strip Light also offers RGB, cool white, and warm white with segment control. Measuring five metres and cuttable every 12.5 centimetres, it features a PU coating and an IP44 water-resistance rating for durability and versatility.
The RGBIC Neon Wire Rope Light includes an internal wire frame for shaping without extra fittings. It measures two metres and supports segment control, letting users bend and customise the design to suit any room or style.
Each product in the RGBIC Series supports 16 million colours, 26 preset scenes, eight lighting effects, and up to 25,000 hours of operation, making them suitable for gaming areas, home cinemas, or festive use.
RGB SERIES
The RGB Series provides everyday lighting designed to blend with any setting, including the SwitchBot Floor Lamp and LED Strip Light 3. Both support RGB, cool white, and warm white tones, suitable for reading, working, or relaxing.
The SwitchBot Floor Lamp stands 1.35 metres tall, can be positioned vertically or horizontally, and delivers a 100-degree wide-angle spread.
The LED Strip Light 3 measures five metres, is cuttable every 12.5 centimetres, and has PU coating with IP44 water resistance for reliability. Both models support continuous dimming, colour adjustment, 16 preset themes, and five colour effects, offering smooth transitions from soft evening light to bright working conditions.
CANDLE WARMER LAMP – THE FIRST MATTER-OVER-WI-FI CANDLE WARMER
This model uses gentle heat instead of a flame to melt candles, producing a warm atmosphere without smoke, soot, or open flames. Compatible with candles up to 9.5 centimetres in diameter and 14 centimetres in height, it features adjustable brightness and a timer to manage both light and scent.
It can connect with other SwitchBot devices for automated routines, such as dimming lights and playing music while the candle warms, providing a mix of comfort, safety, and smart functionality.
All models in the range are Matter-certified, allowing control of colour, brightness, and temperature from any supported smart home platform, including Apple Home of course. Each device operates locally without an internet connection for faster responses and greater privacy.
The Matter-enabled Light Series integrates with the wider SwitchBot ecosystem, enabling users to combine lighting with products such as the Presence Sensor, Lock Ultra, or Hub 3 to create adaptive environments that respond intelligently to daily habits.
