Onvis Plans New Matter/Thread Devices for 2026
Shenzhen-based smart home product manufacturer Onvis are gearing up for a spate of product launches in 2026, mostly focused on smart outlets, alongside other yet-to-be-announced products.
The three outlets are for the UK, Europe, and North America, with all offering power monitoring, although only Google and Samsung (and we presume Home Assistant) can currently make use of this feature natively. All of these outlets will also ship with Matter 1.4.2 and Thread 1.4 certification, with the North American version already certified in both instances, and currently under ETL certification.
The T20 range will included timers, countdown mode, holiday mode, an overload sensor, and energy consumption covering 24 hours, 7 days, 1 month, and 1 year. Some of these features will be accessible via Onvis’s own HomeKit compatible app.
In addition to these new outlet based products, Onvis will be releasing its first Matter over Thread dual outdoor socket, and offers the same feature as the indoor outlets, namely power monitoring. The model pictured is only for North America, with corresponding EU and UK versions coming later.
Finally, the company will be launching their first smart bulb, offering 1100lm, full colour as well as cool to warm whites (RGBCW) along with custom features via the Onvis app. Once again this product will use Matter over Thread and is a standard E26/E27 A19 bulb.
Pricing for these is not available at the time of writing, and release dates are slated for April – June depending on the product, with the North American T20 the first release.
