Govee Lines up Three New Smart Lighting Products for 2026
Govee, the smart ambient lighting specialist, is bringing its ‘Lighting the Future’ vision to CES 2026 with a showcase of its latest innovations for the year ahead. Three flagship products will be unveiled, representing the next generation of intelligent illumination: the Govee Floor Lamp 3, the Govee Ceiling Light Ultra, and the Govee Sky Ceiling Light. All this, including a new partnership with Samsung SmartThings.
The new product range is driven by advances across Govee’s core technologies, including the upgraded LuminBlend+ colour system, AI Lighting Bot 2.0, and the new DaySync adaptive lighting system. Together, these developments aim to refine how users interact with smart lighting. All of these products will also support Matter over WiFi as do the majority of the company’s other lighting products.
The Govee Floor Lamp 3 is the company’s most advanced floor lamp to date, featuring LuminBlend+ for more accurate colour reproduction and a wide 1000K to 10000K colour temperature range. Combined with AI Lighting Bot 2.0 and the DaySync system, it offers personalised ambience and time-aware lighting adjustments. Its sculptural form is intended to complement a range of interior styles.
The Govee Ceiling Light Ultra is positioned as the industry’s first ceiling light designed as a ‘creative canvas’. It incorporates a 616-pixel LED matrix capable of displaying detailed patterns and animations. AI Lighting Bot 2.0 supports dynamic lighting effects, while enhanced DIY tools allow users to create and customise their own designs. The light provides strong, even illumination for larger living spaces and is designed to maintain natural colour rendering across objects and skin tones for everyday comfort and clarity.
The Govee Sky Ceiling Light is designed to recreate the look and feel of natural daylight indoors. Using custom-engineered LEDs and gradient illumination, it simulates clear-sky tones and soft skylight transitions, making it suitable for enclosed or windowless rooms. Its white-light performance is intended to deliver a calm, comfortable atmosphere that supports relaxation and wellbeing.
At the core of these products is LuminBlend+, Govee’s enhanced colour management system. Built around a 16-bit precision chip, it enables smoother and more accurate colour transitions, while proprietary gamma calibration ensures consistent colour performance across different brightness levels. Improved RGB-to-white blending supports a broad 1000K to 10000K colour temperature range, from warm, candle-like light to cooler tones for focus and productivity. This system is expected to be introduced across new indoor and outdoor lighting products in 2026.
AI Lighting Bot 2.0 is designed to deliver more expressive and personalised lighting experiences. By combining proprietary technology with advanced generative models, it responds to mood and context while learning user behaviour over time. For linear lighting products such as light strips, it enables real-time, context-aware reactions. For graphic lighting products, including curtain lights, it can generate animated visuals to create richer and more engaging effects.
DaySync is Govee’s redesigned approach to circadian lighting, intended to simplify everyday use. By aligning indoor lighting with the time of day, it automatically adjusts brightness, colour, and colour temperature through smart presets tailored to different activities. DaySync is scheduled to roll out from April 2026 across new products in Govee’s indoor lighting range.
Alongside these product and technology announcements, Govee is expanding its smart home ecosystem through a new partnership with Samsung SmartThings. This integration allows selected Govee lighting products to be managed alongside other SmartThings-compatible devices within a single system, supporting unified control and automation across the home, from living areas and bedrooms to outdoor spaces.
