SwitchBot Ups its Game at CES With Multiple New Releases
SwitchBot will present its Smart Home 2.0 vision at CES 2026, introducing a new range of products built on the company’s latest AI and robotics technologies. The showcase focuses on a unified ecosystem powered by embodied AI, designed to allow homes to sense, interpret, and respond across everyday activities, including living, studying, and working.
One thing to be clear about for our viewers is that some of these devices, whilst likely compatible with Siri Shortcuts via the SwitchBot app, aren’t guaranteed to be either HomeKit or Matter compatible, although as we get more information, we’ll update the points in this article to reflect any relevant changes.
SwitchBot is introducing onero H1, a household robot designed as a step towards more adaptable domestic robotics. Rather than performing a single fixed role, onero H1 is intended to handle a broad range of household tasks that remain difficult to automate, marking a transition from specialised devices to multi-task systems.
The robot is built on embodied AI capabilities, features 22 degrees of freedom, and uses an on-device OmniSense VLA model. It is designed to learn and adapt while working alongside SwitchBot’s existing task-specific devices. By combining visual input, depth sensing, and tactile feedback, the system gains a clearer understanding of object position, shape, and interaction, which improves reliability for tasks such as grasping, pushing, opening, and organising. onero H1, along with its A1 robotic arms, will be available for pre-order on SwitchBot’s website.
SWITCHBOT LOCK VISION SERIES: SMART DEADBOLT LOCKS
The SwitchBot Lock Vision Series introduces deadbolt smart locks with 3D structured-light facial recognition. Using more than 2,000 infrared projection points, the system creates detailed 3D facial maps, enabling accurate and fast unlocking. The technology is designed to work reliably with glasses, hats, or make-up, and includes 3D liveness detection to reduce spoofing risks. All biometric data is stored locally.
The Lock Vision Series also includes DualPower and DualBackup systems, combining a rechargeable main battery, a long-life backup battery, and emergency power support. Matter-over-Wi-Fi connectivity allows direct integration with Apple Home without requiring a hub, enabling remote access and voice control. The Lock Vision Pro expands the range with optional palm-vein recognition, using near-infrared sensing to read internal vascular patterns, which can be useful when hands are wet or dirty.
SWITCHBOT AI MINDCLIP
Debuting at CES 2026, SwitchBot AI MindClip is a portable, voice-based AI assistant designed for both personal and professional use. It continuously records meetings, conversations, and daily interactions, converting them into structured summaries, task lists, and a searchable personal knowledge base.
Powered by a subscription-based cloud AI service, AI MindClip allows users to retrieve past information, ask follow-up questions, and organise spoken content into usable reference material. Weighing 18g and supporting more than 100 languages, the device is intended to help manage large volumes of spoken information with reduced cognitive effort.
SWITCHBOT WEATHER STATION
The SwitchBot Weather Station features a 7.5-inch E-Ink display that consolidates household and environmental data into a single interface. It shows date and time, sunrise and sunset times, indoor temperature and humidity, air quality, current weather conditions, and a six-day forecast. Additional features include calendar synchronisation and automatic scene triggers.
The device also offers AI-generated daily weather briefings with practical recommendations based on local conditions, alongside optional weather-related quotations.
SWITCHBOT OBBOTO AND ACEMATE TENNIS ROBOT
SwitchBot OBBOTO is a desk-based pixel globe light featuring over 2,900 RGB LEDs, motion sensing, music visualisation, and AI-driven lighting effects. It can display time and weather through light patterns and offers modes for focus, sleep, and relaxation, as well as interactive pixel art.
As first unveiled at IFA in the summer of 2025, SwitchBot will showcase for the first time at CES, the Acemate Tennis Robot, a sports technology product designed to deliver AI-driven tennis rally experiences.
