Ecovacs Unveils The Deebot X12 OmniCyclone at CES
Ecovacs used CES 2026 to outline a broader expansion of its home robotics strategy, led by the unveiling of the new Deebot X12 OmniCyclone robot vacuum and supported by additions across cleaning, outdoor, and companion robotics.
DEEBOT X12 OMNICYCLONE
The Deebot X12 OmniCyclone represents the second generation of Ecovacs’ current flagship robot vacuum line, following the Deebot X11 OmniCyclone, which debuted at IFA 2025. While the X12 remains largely under wraps, Ecovacs confirmed several key upgrades.
The X12 retains the bagless PureCyclone dust collection system integrated into the multifunction dock, but introduces an extended 26 cm OZMO Roller mop, which is around 50 percent longer than the previous generation. This design increases floor coverage per pass and is intended to improve overall mopping efficiency. The system also adds pressurised self-washing with 16 nozzles to rinse the roller during operation, helping to reduce streaking and secondary contamination.
New stain pre-treatment functionality is supported by an infrared stain detector and dual high-pressure nozzles, which identify stubborn marks and apply crossed water jets before mopping begins. A smart mop cover is also designed to prevent carpets from becoming damp during cleaning.
Ecovacs has not announced pricing, full specifications, or a release date. For reference, the Deebot X11 launched at US$1,499.99, placing the X12 likely in a similar premium price bracket.
T90 PRO OMNI
Ecovacs also refreshed its mid-range lineup with the Deebot T90 Pro Omni, replacing the T80 Omni. The new model adopts PowerBoost Charging technology from the X series, allowing the robot to recharge opportunistically during self-cleaning cycles at the base. Like the X12 family, the T90 Pro Omni uses the updated OZMO Roller 3.0 system.
Whilst there’s been no official confirmation of Matter compatibility for the two aforementioned robovacs, it’s reasonable to assume they’ll receive the necessary firmware updates, particularly given that previous models have either shipped with Matter support out of the box, or received it shortly after launch.
