I purchased two Bringnox roller shades (Matter Over Thread). Internally, they use AprilSmart brand motor. They most reliably stay connected to Aqara app; however, are consistently losing connection to Apple Home. Both through Aqara connection to Apple Home or directly being connected to Apple Home. They are incredibly unreliable. I would not recommend these to anyone.
They’ve been 100% reliable for me so far. You might want to check if you’ve unintentionally got more than one Thread Network running, as I’ve found that’s a major source of Thread devices going offline.
All my devices are on one thread network name “MyHome98”. My WiFi 5 GHz is deactivated, so everything is also on 2.4 GHz. All my thread devices work continuously without disruption, with the exception of my Bringnox shades.
