Compact SwitchBot K11+ Pro Packs Matter and 12,000Pa Suction
SwitchBot has launched the Robot Vacuum K11+ Pro, an upgraded version of its compact K11+ robot vacuum, bringing increased suction, quieter operation, improved anti-tangle brushes, and Matter over Wi-Fi support.
Available in black or beige, the K11+ Pro retains the unusually small footprint of its predecessor, with SwitchBot positioning the new model particularly towards apartments, smaller homes, pet owners, and rooms with tightly spaced furniture.
MATTER AND APPLE HOME SUPPORT
The K11+ Pro supports Matter over Wi-Fi, allowing the robot vacuum to connect to compatible smart home platforms, including Apple Home. This means Apple users can integrate the K11+ Pro into the Home app rather than relying solely on SwitchBot’s own ecosystem. Siri can also be used to initiate cleaning.
More advanced functions remain available through the SwitchBot app, including room and zone selection, schedules, no-go areas, virtual walls, and control over cleaning and dust collection times. The robot can also participate in SwitchBot automations, allowing cleaning to be triggered by other events, such as starting when everyone has left home.
SMALLER ROBOT AND DOCK
At 24.8cm in diameter and 9.2cm high, the K11+ Pro is considerably smaller than many conventional robot vacuums, although both the vac and doc are smaller than the company’s S20, the K11+ Pro is the same size as the predecessor, the previous K11+ . Its compact dimensions allow it to navigate between chair legs and access areas beneath beds, sofas, and cabinets where larger models may struggle. Despite the smaller design, the K11+ Pro includes an auto-empty station capable of storing up to 90 days of collected debris, although actual capacity will depend on usage and the amount of dirt collected.
Navigation is handled by LDS LiDAR for mapping and route planning, accompanied by PSD close-range sensing to detect furniture legs and wall edges. The robot weighs approximately 2.3kg and can store up to five maps, making it easier to move between different floors if required.
SUCTION DOUBLED TO 12,000PA
SwitchBot has increased maximum suction to 12,000Pa, twice the peak suction offered by the original K11+. The upgraded centrifugal fan and airflow system are designed to collect dust, crumbs, pet hair, cat litter, and debris embedded in carpets without requiring a larger robot body.
SwitchBot has also redesigned the internal air duct to reduce higher-frequency noise. In Quiet Mode, the K11+ Pro operates at a claimed 45dB. Basic mopping is available using disposable mop cloths, although this is intended primarily for light wiping rather than the more advanced wet cleaning offered by larger robot vacuums equipped with dedicated mopping systems.
DUAL ANTI-TANGLE BRUSHES
Pet hair is addressed through a new dual anti-tangle system. An all-rubber main brush is designed to reduce hair becoming wrapped around the roller, while a two-arm anti-tangle side brush loosens hair and directs debris towards the vacuum inlet. Combined with the automatic dust collection system, this should reduce the amount of routine cleaning required to keep the robot operational, particularly in homes with pets.
PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
The SwitchBot Robot Vacuum K11+ Pro is available in black or beige, on Amazon.com priced at US$299.99 for the beige model, and US$399.99 for the black model (US$239,99 or US$339.99 respectively, with the US$60 coupon), £399.99 on Amazon.co.uk, and €399.99 on Amazon DE, FR, IT, and ES with EU stores offering a 40% discount coupon. With Matter over Wi-Fi and Apple Home support included, the K11+ Pro provides a relatively compact alternative to the increasingly large robot vacuums and docking stations appearing on the market, while substantially increasing suction compared with the original K11+.

How does this avoid bumping into skirting boards? That’s been the main issue with the older models.
I haven’t found it to bump into skirting boards per se, but its obstacle avoidance isn’t great. Nowhere near as good as my Roborock and Ecovacs units, but then they’re larger and more expensive.
