Nuki Introduce Update to Their Smart Lock With HomeKit support

Nuki, a company not so well known unless you use Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa, have updated their Nuki Smart Lock, with a brand new version that now includes support for HomeKit for the first time.

Their new lock, simply called the Nuki Smart Lock 2.0 not only includes support for HomeKit, but also includes Zigbee functionality and Bluetooth 5.0. The door also features a ‘door sensor’ which detects the state of the lock and the door itself. The new lock still also supports the other two systems, and is still available, but this new version will not be available to buy until November.

Nuki are also offering compatible keypad and keyfob accessories to work with the new lock.
