Remsol Introduce HomeKit compatibility to their iSmartgate Controller

Remsol, the company behind the original Gogogate smart garage door opener, have a new product called iSmartgate that will come with HomeKit support along with the usual support for Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and IFTTT. The device can also work with electronic gates, should you have one.

The controller connects to the electronic panels of your electronic garage door or gate and can support up to three gates/doors. Control of these gates and doors is available on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and even via your computer, with as yet to be announced control via your home speakers.

Also included in the controller is a speaker, which can play music as you enter your garage (I’d go for the theme to ‘Thunderbirds’ every time I leave…). The product is designed and manufactured in Europe, so initially, we expect to see sales only for the EU, but considering the US is one of the largest ‘Smart Home’ markets, it’s fairly inevitable this product will be making an appearance soon after.
