Aqara Water Leak Sensor
I am adding the HomeKit enabled water leak sensor by Aqara to my HomeKit setup. This sensor is very affordable and works great with HomeKit through the Aqara gateway. Mine stopped working without any notification or anything. Battery change didn’t help. Was never exposed to water. Wouldn’t recommend it as it’s not reliable.
I have like 5-10 of it in 3 sites, one is the office server room(I still have the old style one there), they are working good for now, I got an alert from last week.
I have one that doesn’t reset after an alert in Home app. In Aqara app its fine, but HomeKit always shows it alerted, even after removing and adding it again.
I’ve had this once before, and I solved it by triggering the sensor again with some water, then drying it off just after. It would then reset in both apps.
