The Aqara Curtain Driver E1 follows in the footsteps of the Roller Shade Driver E1, in as much as it’s a retrofit option (in the former’s case) to control your curtains. The E1 isn’t the first to market with such a device, as both Switchbot and ZemiSmart have had these kinds of motors for a while. That said, at the time of this video, only the ZemiSmart option has HomeKit compatibility, with Switchbot relegated to using HomeBridge for the time being.
