Aqara Door and Window Sensor

Although Aqara might not be familiar to many outside their native country, this Chinese Smarthome powerhouse is quickly making me a fan of their Homekit compatible products. In this video we’ll look at the Aqara zigbee-based Door & Window Sensor. This is the first zigbee based contact sensor to offer homekit compatibility and it’s blindingly fast to respond compared to the current bluetooth BLE based offerings from other vendors.
