First Test Videos of the Robin Telecom Video Doorbell
Today I’m presenting a short video of my ‘just received’ Robin Telecom Video Doorbell, which as you may be aware now, is the very first HomeKit compatible video doorbell on the market. In the video I just demonstrate the process of the doorbell being pressed and the subsequent notification in iOS/Home. You can see that the response time is quite fast.
The second half of the video just briefly shows the different options available via the Robin Telecom app itself.
Do we know why the product is so large?
The Wifi radio and the drivers for the speakers require a certain amount of space. This form-factor is not uncommon for a high-end doorbell that can be integrated into the wall itself.
Companies like Robin & Bird Home have the option of changing the external facia to suit the external finish of the building where it is being installed.
