Yobi B3 Now Available on

After a considerably long gestation period, the Yobi B3 is now available to buy on for the first time, after we first reported on it back in March. As reported by Zac Hall at, the Yobi B3 is selling for US$199, and whilst it’s not the very first HomeKit enabled video doorbell to market, it does beat the likes of Netatmo, who announced their option over 18 months ago, although that would appear to finally be making its debut in the next couple of months. It also beats the rumoured HomeKit upgrade to the Eufy battery-powered video doorbell, which has also been highly anticipated.

What the Yobi doesn’t offer, however, is any options to record footage – be that via iCloud or via local storage. As it doesn’t have a slot for an SD card or a base station, like the Eufy option, and as it’s not compatible with HomeKit Secure Video, you can’t record to online storage either, which is going to limit the product’s appeal, especially at the $199 price point. Still, compared to the only other video doorbell on the market – the Robin Proline coming out at over three times the price, there could be a market for it.
