SwitchBot’s Smart Vac Combo Now Available

SwitchBot’s latest smart home device, the K10+ Pro Combo – a 3-in-1 Home Cleaning System – is now available for purchase. The ‘Combo’ is aiming to offer a versatile cleaning option that not only provides a robot vac to do much of the floor cleaning work for you, but still give you a hand-on option in the form of a cordless vacuum. Both parts work with the included base station;

K10+ Pro Robot Vacuum – A compact robot vacuum designed to clean tight spaces with advanced navigation (review HERE, video below).
Lightweight Cordless Vacuum – A portable vacuum suitable for stairs, upholstery, and high surfaces.
FusionBase™ Smart Station – A dual dust collection base that automatically empties both vacuums, reducing the need for manual emptying.

Despite its smaller footprint than pretty much all other robot vacuums, the K10+ Pro offers decent floor coverage. It uses D-ToF radar technology and obstacle avoidance for navigation, with a battery life of up to 150 minutes, covering up to 225 square metres per charge.

The cordless vacuum is designed for areas the robot vacuum cannot reach, such as stairs, skirting boards, and ceiling corners. It is lightweight (similar to a litre of milk) and comes with multiple attachments for different surfaces.

Dust Collection and Smart Features;

Dual Auto-Empty System – The FusionBase™ station empties both vacuums into a 3-litre dust bag, which needs replacing approximately every 70 days.
Hygienic Design – The dust bags include 99.99% antibacterial protection against common bacteria such as E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus.
TwinFlow™ Suction Technology – Reduces clogging and maintains consistent suction power.
Quiet Operation – Runs as quietly as 45dB in silent mode, making it suitable for night-time use.

The K10+ Pro Combo supports Matter, allowing integration with Apple HomeKit, Siri, and the SwitchBot app. It should be noted that Matter and Apple Home users are still in the dark as to when a more fuller Matter experience for robot vacuums will Show up. Currently, the K10+ Pro and Combo do get exposed to Matter platforms via one of the company’s Matter bridges (despite using WiFi), although the K10+ Pro only shows up in Apple Home as an on/off type device (eg a smart plug). Users can schedule cleaning, monitor progress remotely, and a lot more via the Switchbot app, however.
