Govee Release Outdoor ‘Branch’ Lights w/ Matter

Following on from a ton of releases last year, Govee has introduced a new smart lighting product for outdoor use, namely the Outdoor Garden Lights (model H7086).

KEY FEATURES
  • Innovative Tree-Like Design

  • RGBWWIC Lighting with LuminBlend Technology

  • Smart Control and Integration – 64 preset scenes and customisation options and Matter compatible

  • Durability and Weather Resistance

  • Energy Efficiency – rated as Class G in energy efficiency

The basic set includes two bases and four lamp poles, which can be arranged in a modular configuration, resembling a tree-like structure, which is a first as far as we’re aware. The height can be adjusted between 30cm and 90cm to accommodate different garden layouts.

The lights feature RGBWWIC LEDs and make use of Govee’s 16-bit LuminBlend technology. This enables them to display a wide range of colours as well as adjustable white light, with a maximum brightness output of 1,100 lumens (set to cool white). They are not compatible with Apple Home’s Adaptive Lighting feature, although given these are outdoor lights, it would seem redundant.

Control is provided via the Govee Home app, offering access to 64 preset lighting scenes and customisation options. As these are also a Matter over Wifi product, they’ll work with Apple Home, and also support voice control through Siri, Alexa, and Google.

The units have an IP66 rating for water and dust resistance and are housed in an aluminium structure. They are designed to operate in temperatures from -20°C to 40°C. Power is supplied via a European two-pin plug, and the lights carry a Class G energy rating under the EU labelling system.

These are currently only available in the EU, via the company’s own store or Amazon.de priced at €139,99 (when using the €30,00 discount coupon),  with no information yet as to whether these will also come to North America.
