Xiaoyan Home Center and Awareness Switch

Xiaoyan is the latest Asian Smart Home maker to make the move out of it’s traditional strong markets and start extending it’s reach to the rest of the world. In this video we’ll walkthough the unboxing and setup of the Xiaoyan Home Center which is a zigbee hub and acts as the HomeKit bridge device allowing the Xiaoyan products to interface wth Apple HomeKit and other Smart home Ecosystems. The Awareness Switch is currently a unique product, that although a bit large, is still packed with features including a multi-controller button, a temperature sensor, a light sensor and TWO motion sensors which point in opposite directions. Although Xiaoyan is not shipping outside of China yet, I believe they are going to be another of the players to watch in 2019 as they release more accessories and increase their exposure outside their native Chinese market.
