Australian Startup Domotic Launches to Focus on HomeKit and Managed Services

Domotic, Australia’s first Apple HomeKit Managed Services Provider has launched to capture the growing market for consumer home automation needs.

Newly founded Australian business Domotic officially launched today providing Australians with a selection of managed services that enable them to easily embrace the rapidly emerging new wave of home automation technologies.

Focussing exclusively on utilising Apple HomeKit as the underpinning technology, Domotic is raising awareness for Apple home automation technology by delivering products and services that promise to upgrade your house into a smart home.

Ex-Apple executive Justin Stuckey and Founder of Domotic said “We are extremely excited to be launching a full suite of managed services from consulting to lifecycle management that takes the complexity out of automating your lifestyle.”

“Australia has one of the highest utilisation of Apple users in the world and it’s not commonly known that every Apple device is capable of controlling your home. We aim to change that.”

“We have decided to work exclusively with Apple products because they are quite simply unmatched when it comes to security, privacy and performance.”

In addition to a comprehensive set of managed services, Domotic has launched a new dedicated online store providing the largest selection of Apple home automation products in Australia.

“We have scoured the world to partner with accessory manufacturers and distributors to bring a wide range of home automation accessories together in one place.

According to market analysts Telsyte, the Australian home automation market reached $1.1B in 2018 and is set to grow to $5.3B in 2023.* Australia is also recognised as an early adopter of technology and its smart speaker adoption rate has been higher than that of the US despite having devices available here for less than half the time.**

“The race to win consumers in the home is now being won by innovative technology companies that provide a fully integrated home automation experience with intelligent voice, wearables and accessories that integrate into your life” said Justin.

“Gone are the days of old legacy home automation products that were complex to install, expensive and difficult to use. We can now retrofit the most advanced home automation solution with the best user experience at a fraction of the price of those traditional systems.”

“Australians want a secure, healthy and luxurious automated home that revolves around them with minimal interaction required. That’s why we have built our company on these principles.”

“We are seeing a fantastic opportunity to work with customers to upgrade homes however there are infinite possibilities with new home builds, renovations, small business, nursing and those with accessibility requirements. We believe that we can enhance the lives of Australians through automation, innovation and technology.”

Analysts are predicting that over the next 3 years, it is expected that there will be an average of 37 connected devices in the home and over 391 million connected home devices in Australia.
