Yes, this and the other Bluetooth mesh bulbs added to the listings section are the older models. I’m informed they still get exposed to HomeKit via the Yeelight Bluetooth Mesh Gateway.
Hi there, I recently set up YLSD01YL (as pictured) and set them up in Mi Home. However, they are not showing up on HomeKit. I have a Mijia Gateway V2 that supports Bluetooth & Zigbee. Whilst I can control it from Mi Home app, it’s not appearing on Homekit. Do you think I will need the Yeelight Mesh Gateway instead?
Hi, from what I’m told, whilst both the Mi Smart Gateway and the Yeelight Bluetooth Mesh gateway both support the same mesh lights, only the Yeelight gateway exposes the Yeelight lights to HomeKit. I assume Mijia and Yeelight have some sort of agreement, otherwise the Mi Smart gateway would render the Yeelight gateway redundant.
